Get To Know Dr. Kerry Ahmadi

Styling San Diego’s Smiles

Dr. Kerry is an experienced general and cosmetic dentist who believes the best accessory you can style yourself with is a smile! She loves the artistry and detail of dentistry, and delivers her expertise from a genuine place of care for her patients. Dr. Kerry’s lifelong passion for excellence shapes her entire approach to her craft and the community she’s honored to serve. 

Dr. Kerry earned her undergraduate degree in microbiology at the University of Miami. She continued her education at the UNLV School of Dentistry, earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from one of the nation’s top programs. After an intensive educational path, Dr. Kerry practiced dentistry for several years in Dubai and San Diego, where she gained valuable experience that her patients benefit from today. 

For Dr. Kerry, the learning never stops, and she wouldn’t want to have it any other way! She loves being a lifelong student, caring for the San Diego community with the latest dental techniques and services. She carefully chooses new technologies that maximize service to her patients, including a special interest in metal-free teeth straightening and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Kerry is Invisalign certified and is proud to be a member of the ADA, CDA, SDDS, AACD, AACA, and KOIS.

Dr. Kerry started with an interest in general surgery, but her exposure to the delicacy, artistry, and relationships in dentistry changed her life. Taking care of others and learning their stories underscores her professional and personal values. She’s provided dental care for disadvantaged patients in New Zealand and looks forward to offering similar services right here in San Diego.

When she’s not transforming smiles, Dr. Kerry appreciates the ability to enjoy time with her supportive husband, Kia, and their two beautiful kids. In fact, her children often visit the office and tell her they’d like to be dentists, even at ages 3 and 5! She also loves pilates, yoga, tennis, skiing, cycling, and hiking, and she’s currently learning to play the piano!
